Simon Davies is a co-founder and Board Member for Kleio Ventures LLC. As an active board member and company executive he is a member of the senior management team with a focus on all fiscal activities.
In this role, Simon works with the other management team members, working on all of the on going projects. With Simon’s previous expertise he leads many of the financial reviews and business plan development activities for Kleio Ventures LLC.
Simon started Kleio Ventures LLC in mid-2011. His career to date spans over 25 years of experience working in the sales and finance fields. Before joining Kleio Ventures LLC, he was working with Guggenheim Aero Finance Company, underwriting loans for corporate aircraft. His primary function was business development but he was also a member of the senior management executive who were responsible for the day to day operation of the company.
Prior to this, Simon held the position of Senior Director, Structured Finance, for Bombardier Aerospace where he worked with major financial institutions to structure complex international financing solutions for clients of Bombardier. Before joining Bombardier, Simon was the initial member of the Structured Finance team for CAE and was responsible for financing CAE investment opportunities in simulator training centers.
Simon attended the University of Western Ontario in Canada where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Simon is married with two young children and currently lives in Montreal, Quebec.
Simon has a wealth of business experience and this combined with his financial engineering skills make him a valued and welcome member of the Kleio Ventures LLC team.
